Your home is more than just a place – it’s the foundation for your aspirations and well-being. Our housing stabilization services at Capital Home Care Services LLC are designed to ensure that this foundation is solid and supportive. We recognize that housing stability plays a pivotal role in our client’s overall quality of life. Housing Stabilization Services (HSS) is a new Home- and Community-Based Service (HCBS) that supports people with disabilities in finding housing, setting a basic living budget; creating natural community supports by connecting with landlords and neighbors; and assisting people with understanding the rules and responsibilities of a lease.
The goals of HSS are to:
- Support an individual’s transition into housing
- Increase long-term stability in housing in the community
- Avoid future periods of homelessness or institutionalization
We offer both Housing Transition and Housing Sustaining. Transition services are provided to those who need help planning for, finding, and moving into housing. Sustaining services are provided to those who need help to maintain living in their current housing.
